Our Golf Leagues

The members of Peterborough Golf and Country Club enjoy creating memories that involve those with whom you share your rounds with.

When your schedule does not fit with your regular golf buddies, or you simply might not know anyone who likes to play golf during the times you have available, you might consider joining one of our house leagues.

You will enjoy the beauty of the course as the course flows along the Trent Severn Waterway, and get those important pointers in the key areas to land your ball so you can try to beat the course. Good Luck!

We offer Blue, White, Yellow, Red & Green Tee boxes, offering an additional course design of fewer than 4000 yards for novice or beginners!

The Ladies and Men's leagues are offered as part of your "Golf Memberships".

Ladies League

Our Ladies come together for two distinct leagues for the season, one is our 18 hole, a four-team competitive league that plays to earn valuable points for their team and the other is the nine-hole fun league!

These leagues offer low gross & low net prizes & closest to the hole games, with up to four handicap groups! Fall championship play and banquets are always a fun event.

It is a much-needed break offering fun, laughter and just good golf with friends.

Senior Men Morning League

Setup for an 8.30 am start time, fun, fellowship & team effort begins with each round, with a different grouping of 3 matched up each week! And a different game format each week!

Weekly prizes and an annual closing banquet with trophies and more memories of the fun summer and plans for next season

8:30 am -Noon

Men's (Berlett Cup) League

Eight Teams play head-to-head matches in a round-robin format with a great mix of all levels. Participation is a big part of this summer league as teams earn points for each member that posts their score! Always great prizes and a fall banquet second to none!

The best way to meet your fellow golfers and enjoy the game. Special Events every month!

Wednesdays 1.00pm - 5.00pm

A golf league may not be for everyone, but here are a couple of reasons why you should consider joining our leagues:

You will play more golf: In league play, there is just more reason to play every week. The competition alone in league play brings an added level of motivation to get out and play.

Your league will bring you closer to new friends: Many people play the game for social reasons. Fellowship and bantering about the successes and failures get better with more friends involved. Sharing the experience of a golf game is a time-honoured tradition with people who may otherwise not have anything in common.
